As the title suggests, this blog explores the relationship between participatory democracy (as distinguished from representative democracy) and human rights (understood not only as normative principles, but also as social entitlements). I am particularly interested in the convergence of new models of participatory democracy with new conceptions of economic, political, social, cultural, and environmental rights.
